Tomorrow we celebrate my childrens birthday AND my father may get to come home. It looks as if they have stabilized his blood sugar. His kidney doctor was part at fault, he overdosed his medication and it was that and an allergic reaction that caused the entire episode. He is in good spirits and can’t wait to get out.

OK, I work at Honeywell and am a subcontractor. Honeywell posted a new position with the same contracting company I am with now. I asked if I could apply and they told me I would need to quit my job I have now before I could apply. That means I still might not get the new position and would be out of work totaly.
I dont understand. Working for most companies they encourage you to apply for other positions. Not with my contracting company. I am so frustrated. This would have meant another 20K a year. Such is life I guess.

OK, so we found that the new kidney drug my dad was taking was prescribed in too high a dosage AND he was allergic to it. It should have cleared his system by now but they still cannot keep his blood sugar up. They can spike it to 150 and half an hour later it drops to the low 50s’. He is in Critical care and will remain so until they can stabilize him. They say they have never seen this before and do not yet know the cause.

This time, when he got to the ER his sugal levels were at 30. By the time I got there htey had gotten him up to 57 and he was aware of his surroundings and his normal self about being in the hospital. By the time I left there was still no news as to if they would let him stay the night.

So, they took my dad to the hospital and we were told that it was just his blood sugar being too low. Something like in the range of 40. They got it up to 70 and sent him home. 15 minutes after he gets home he passes out, eyes roll back into his head and the paramedics are on their way again. When they got there they gave him some glucose and he came around but did not know who he was nor who my mom was. Back to the hospital he goes.
