The Jungle Carpet Pythons are beautiful. The others were nice as well, but I like the colors of the Jungle Carpet Pythons.
By the way, did the animals or the pictures run away?

Never was a fan of snakes. I remember driving along I-10 and seeing the snakes out on the Inferstate sunning themselves.

Snakes in captivity are less likely to bite due to the contact with other humans they encounter. While I have been bit more times than I can count, it was more due to working in a reptile store or not paying attention to the animal I was working with. Bites from my own pets were few and a bite from a non-venomous snake rarely hurts more than getting a shot at the doctors.

I think my fear stems from having four brothers who were always handling garter snakes when we were children. They loved to chase the only girl around with them. It wasn't funny then and it isn't funny now. If snakes sense fear the way other animals do, I'd be a goner. I find the snakes and reptiles sections at the zoo fascinating though and there is a reptile farm where I'm from that always drew my interest. I have a great deal of respect for them. But get close? Touch one? Uh-uh!
